Installer
Serving Naperville, Plainfield, Aurora, Downers Grove, Hinsdale, Oakbrook Terrace, and the western suburbs.
Wolf Spirit Deck is an authorized Corradi installer. We install the complete Corradi USA line: the Alba louvered roof, Pergotenda® retractable pergolas, motorized exterior screens, retractable awnings, the Defense shade sail, and the lights and side screens that go with them.
We also build the deck, so the roof, its posts, and the footings under them get designed together from the first drawing. Call (312) 765-3998 or request a free quote.

Your Deck And The Roof Over It, Planned Together
A lot of pergolas and louvered roofs go up years after the deck, put in by a different company, and that’s usually where the trouble starts.
The posts end up bolted through deck boards instead of sitting on footings, or the gutter drains straight onto the stairs. Sometimes the framing was never sized for the extra load, and part of the deck has to come apart to fix it.
Because we build decks, we plan for the Corradi system from the first drawing. Footings go in where the posts will land, the framing gets extra blocking where brackets mount, and drain lines from the Alba’s posts are routed before the boards go down. If you already have a deck or patio, we check what’s under it first and tell you plainly whether it can carry a roof.
We’re an authorized Corradi installer, and every installation is done by our own crew.

Louvered Roofs
An aluminum roof with blades that rotate. Open them for sun and airflow, close them when it rains.
Alba
Motorized Rotating Blades
Alba is Italian for “dawn.” Its aluminum blades rotate up to 150° from a remote, so on a hot afternoon you can tilt them to throw the sun back up and still get a breeze through. Closed, they keep out rain and snow. The water runs into a perimeter gutter and drains down through the posts.
Alba comes freestanding or wall-mounted with several post options, and it can also be built into an existing structure. Integrated LEDs and retractable side screens are available for evenings and privacy.
- Rotates Up To 150°
- Motorized
- Freestanding Or Wall-Mounted
- Integrated LEDs
- Side Screens
- Two-Tone Frames
Retractable Pergolas (Pergotenda®)
Pergotenda® is the retractable roof system Corradi patented: an aluminum frame with a fabric canopy that opens and closes by remote. It protects against sun, wind, and rain, and it takes side screens and LED lighting.

Maestro
Premium With Integrated Options
Corradi’s top pergola. The gutters, motor, and hardware are all hidden, so what you see is clean beams with no visible screws. It stands on its own or attaches to the house, takes integrated side screens and LED lighting, and you choose the size, materials, and colors.
- Freestanding Or Attached
- Hidden Motor And Gutters
- No Visible Screws
- LED Option
Palladia®
Minimal And Wall-Mounted
A slim retractable pergola that mounts to the house, with a flat or sloped roof. It’s the simplest way to cover a deck or patio off the back wall, and Corradi can build it without front posts.
- Wall-Mounted
- Flat Or Pitched
- LED Option
- Side Closures
Impact®
Made For Existing Frames
A retractable canvas on aluminum runners that installs into a frame you already have, or one we build for it. If you like your current pergola or covered patio structure and want rain protection over it, this is the one to look at.
- Motorized
- Flat Or Pitched
- LED Option
B-Space
Covers Large Spaces
B-Space spans nearly 40 feet wide, which is why you see it over restaurant patios and hotel pool decks. On a large home it can cover an entire entertaining area. It mounts to the wall and has its own water drainage.
- Spans Nearly 40 Feet
- Wall-Mounted
- Motorized
- Side Closures
Exterior Screens
Roll-down screens for the sides of a pergola, a covered porch, or a window. They cut glare and heat, give you privacy, and help keep bugs off the patio. Summit, Harbor, and Vista are made in the U.S. by Corradi USA.

Summit
Corradi’s Most Popular Screen
Summit is designed and built in the U.S. It has a curved cassette (square is an upgrade) and runs up to 18 feet wide and 16 feet tall, depending on the fabric. It comes manual or motorized; crank models top out at 16 feet wide. Nine matte frame finishes, or a custom RAL color.
- Up To 18′ Wide
- Manual Or Motorized
- ShyZip® Or Cable Guides
- Wind Sensor
Zenith
Built For High Winds
Corradi’s newest motorized screen. An enlarged bottom bar, reinforced end caps, and fabric attached with a zipper keep it steady in strong wind, and upgraded ball-bearing idlers keep it quiet, even at larger sizes. A good match for an open lot that catches a lot of wind.
- Motorized
- Wind Resistant
- ShyZip® Track
- Square Cassette
Harbor
The Largest Screen System
For openings wider than 20 feet. Harbor is built in the U.S. by Corradi USA, goes up to 23 feet wide with drops up to 16 feet, and uses a larger roll tube so heavier fabrics stay flat. A good choice for enclosing a long covered patio or a pool pavilion.
- Up To 23′ Wide
- Drops To 16′
- Manual Or Motorized
- Curved Cassette
Vista
Open Roll, No Cassette
Vista’s roll can be recessed into a pocket in the ceiling, so the whole mechanism disappears when the screen is up. It goes up to 23 feet wide and 16 feet tall depending on the fabric, and it’s made in the U.S.
- Recess Mount
- Up To 23′ Wide
- Manual Or Motorized
Horizon
Mounts At Any Angle
Horizon mounts vertically like a screen, flat like an awning, or at any angle in between, and it rolls from the bottom up. Its tensioned-cord design covers large areas with no center supports. It works well for shading the open top of a wood pergola, a sunroom, or a skylight.
- 360° Mounting
- Motorized
- Sun And Wind Sensors
Retractable Awnings
Fabric shade that rolls out from the house and tucks away when you don’t need it. All five are made to measure and motorized, and they can be set up with wind and rain sensors that pull the awning in automatically.
Swipe to see all 5 awnings
Shan
Square Cassette Awning
When it’s retracted, the fabric and arms fold into a fully enclosed square box just 10 inches high and 7¼ inches deep. It spans up to 23 feet wide with a 13.5-foot projection, and the clean lines suit a modern house.
- Up To 23′ × 13.5′
- Full Cassette
- Wind And Rain Sensors
Feng
Round Cassette Awning
The rounded version of a full cassette awning. A Somfy torque-sensing motor runs it from a remote or a wall switch, and LED lights can be built into the cassette and the arms.
- Somfy Motor
- LED Option
- Wind And Rain Sensors
Svet
The Widest Awning
An open-roll awning with square profiles and an optional hood over the fabric. It reaches 30 feet wide with a 13’6″ projection, so it’s the one to look at for a long back wall or a big deck.
- Up To 30′ Wide
- LED Option
- Optional Hood
Klip And Klip Pod
Open Roll Or Semi-Cassette
Klip is a classic open-roll awning with a square bar and a round front bar. Klip Pod adds a rounded case over the rolled fabric, so rain and dirt stay off it while it’s retracted.
- Two Versions
- Motorized
- Wind And Rain Sensors
Frame
Tensioned Track Shade
The fabric runs horizontally on tensioned tracks instead of folding arms. Gas pistons, a strong drive belt, and a full cassette make it quiet and durable. It installs flat or pitched, which makes it a tidy way to shade a deck that runs along the house.
- Flat Or Pitched
- Motorized
- Wind And Rain Sensors
Shade Sails
Shade for a pool or an open part of the yard without building a roof.
Defense
Nautical Retractable Shade Sail
Defense is built from stainless steel and UV-protected Dacron® polyester, the kind of material used on boats. Its white triangular sails cast a crisp square of shade, and the sail rotates up to 360° by hand once it’s deployed.
It opens and closes by remote, and an anemometer can retract it automatically when the wind picks up. It needs little maintenance and can stand on a ballasted base or an in-ground pole, or mount to a wall.
- Rotates 360°
- Motorized
- Wind Sensor
- Freestanding Or Wall-Mounted
Accessories
Add-ons for Corradi pergolas that let you use the space after dark and close in the sides.

Stratus Screens
Side Closures For Pergolas
Drop screens made to fit inside most Pergotenda® systems, based on Corradi’s Summit screen. There are three versions (Stratus, Stratus XL, and Stratus Free), with square or curved cassettes and a wide range of fabrics and colors.
- Up To 18′ Wide
- Manual Or Motorized
- ShyZip® Or Cable Guides
Pergola Lights
Integrated LED Lighting
Corradi builds the lighting into the structure, so there are no lamps hanging off the frame. The Pergotenda® lighting kit runs along the frame. On the Alba, warm white LEDs sit inside the louvers and dim from the remote.
- Warm White
- Dimmable
- Remote Controlled

Draped Fabric Ceiling
A draped fabric ceiling installed under the pergola roof. Paired with LED lights and Stratus side screens, it makes a covered patio feel like a finished room.

Where Corradi Fits On A Naperville Property
Four ways homeowners put Corradi systems together with a deck or patio.

A Louvered Roof Over A New Composite Deck
Build the deck and the roof as one project. We set footings for the Alba posts while the deck is going in, so the roof sits on its own foundations and the drains are planned before the boards go down.

An Awning Over The Deck You Already Have
If your deck is in good shape and you mostly need afternoon shade, a wall-mounted awning like the Shan or Svet needs no posts at all. We check that the wall can take the brackets before we quote it.

A Screened Room Under An Existing Roof
Summit, Zenith, or Harbor screens dropped between the posts of a covered porch or pergola block glare and bugs. When you want the view back, they roll up into the cassette.

Shade By The Pool
A Defense shade sail or a freestanding Alba shades the pool area without attaching anything to the house.

How A Corradi Project Works With Us
One company handles it from the first visit to the final walkthrough.
- Free On-Site ConsultationWe measure and look at what the system will attach to: the house wall, a deck, a patio slab, or open lawn. Sun direction and wind exposure matter a lot here, so we check both.
- Choosing The System And The DetailsWe narrow the line to the one or two products that fit, then work through size, frame color, fabric, lighting, sensors, and side screens. You get the quote in writing.
- Permits And HOA ReviewWe find out what the City of Naperville (or your town) and your HOA require, prepare the drawings, and submit them.
- Footings, Framing, And Deck WorkCorradi builds each system to measure. While it’s in production, we pour footings or set helical piles, add any framing the mounts need, and build or repair the deck if that’s part of the job.
- Installation And WalkthroughOur crew installs the system and sets up the motor, remote, and any sensors. Before we leave, we show you how everything works and how to set it for winter.
How Corradi Systems Handle Naperville Weather
Weather is usually the first thing people ask about, and around here that’s fair. Each type of system deals with it a little differently.
- RainThe Alba’s blades close and send water into a perimeter gutter that drains through the posts. Pergotenda® models like the Maestro have integrated gutters, and the B-Space has its own drainage.
- WindAwnings and the Defense sail can be paired with a wind sensor that retracts them automatically when gusts pick up. Zenith screens have a reinforced bottom bar and end caps made for high wind.
- SnowCorradi designs the Alba to keep out rain and snow with its blades closed. Fabric systems are made to retract, and at the walkthrough we go over how to set each one for the off-season.
- Summer SunTilted, the Alba’s blades deflect afternoon sun upward while air keeps moving through. Side screens handle the low evening sun that comes in under a roof.
What Affects The Price Of A Corradi System
Corradi builds every system to measure, so a posted price list wouldn’t tell you much. These are the things that move the number.
-
Size And Span
Width and projection set the base price. A wider span also means a heavier frame and, on a pergola, often more posts.
-
Type Of System
An awning or a screen is a smaller project than a louvered roof or a Pergotenda®, which have posts, beams, and drainage.
-
Freestanding Or Attached
Freestanding systems stand on posts and footings at every corner. Wall-mounted ones use the house for support along one side, as long as the wall can take it.
-
Motors And Sensors
Wind, rain, and sun sensors and the control options you choose add to the base system.
-
Lighting And Side Screens
LED kits, Stratus or Summit screens, and faux ceilings are optional. They’re also what make a covered space feel like a room.
-
What It Mounts To
A deck we’re building at the same time is the simplest case. An older deck or patio may need new footings or framing first, and we’ll tell you after we look.

Frequently Asked Questions About Corradi
Is Wolf Spirit Deck An Authorized Corradi Installer?
Yes. We install the full Corradi USA product line, including the Alba louvered roof, Pergotenda® retractable pergolas, exterior screens, awnings, the Defense shade sail, and accessories, across Naperville and the western suburbs.
What Is A Pergotenda®?
Pergotenda® is Corradi’s patented retractable roof system. An aluminum frame carries a fabric canopy that opens and closes by remote, so you can have full sun or cover from sun, wind, and rain. Maestro, Palladia®, Impact®, and B-Space are all Pergotenda® models.
What’s The Difference Between A Louvered Roof And A Retractable Pergola?
A louvered roof like the Alba has rotating aluminum blades. You tilt them to control light and airflow, and when they’re closed they shed rain and snow. A retractable pergola has a fabric canopy that slides back, so you get open sky when it’s retracted. If weather protection matters most, the Alba usually makes more sense. If you want the whole sky on a nice evening, look at a Pergotenda®.
Can You Add A Corradi System To My Existing Deck Or Patio?
Often, yes. Wall-mounted awnings and the Palladia® attach to the house. Freestanding systems like the Alba or the Maestro need posts on proper footings, so we inspect what’s under your deck or patio first. If the framing can’t carry posts, we’ll show you what it would take to fix that, or lay the system out next to the deck instead.
Do I Need A Permit For A Pergola Or Louvered Roof In Naperville?
It depends on the structure and how it attaches. We check with the City of Naperville and your HOA before anything is ordered. If a permit or an architectural review is needed, we prepare the drawings and submit them.
Can Corradi Products Handle Chicago-Area Weather?
Corradi lists its systems as weather resistant, and each type handles weather in its own way. The Alba closes against rain and snow and drains through its posts. Awnings and the Defense sail can retract on their own with a wind sensor, and the Zenith screen is built for high wind. At the walkthrough we explain how to set each system for winter.
Are Corradi Products Motorized?
Most are. The Alba, the Pergotenda® models, the awnings, and the Defense sail all run on motors with remote control. Several screens, including Summit, Harbor, and Vista, come manual or motorized, and the manual versions are limited to 16 feet wide.
Can I Add Lights, Side Screens, Or Heaters?
Lights and side screens, yes. Corradi makes integrated LED kits and Stratus drop screens for its pergolas, and the Alba can have LEDs built into the blades. Heaters have been integrated into Alba roofs on other projects, so ask us and we’ll tell you what works for your layout.
Where Are Corradi Products Made?
Corradi started in Italy in 1978 and has been in the United States since 2010. The company describes its products as Italian design, American made. Several of its screens, including Summit, Harbor, and Vista, are manufactured in the U.S. by Corradi USA.
How Long Does A Corradi Project Take?
Every system is made to measure, so the timeline starts with production. We confirm the lead time when you order, then schedule the footings, framing, and any deck work around it so everything is ready when the system arrives.
How Much Does A Corradi Pergola Or Awning Cost?
It depends on the product, the size, how it mounts, and the options you pick. Because everything is made to measure, we don’t publish a price list. We’ll measure, go through the options with you, and give you an itemized written quote at no charge.
Do You Still Build Decks?
Yes, decks are our main business: new composite decks, resurfacing, repair, replacement, and steel framing. Corradi covers what goes over and around the deck. See our Naperville deck building page.
